West Life Long Training (Wellt) is an international tutoring unit of the Center for Training Schools’ Association of the Midwest, which is inserted into the heart of the western region of Portugal, with the primary mission of providing training to teachers and Non-teaching staff of the Schools included in its area of intervention.

With a long tradition in organizing and participating in international projects for training, the Wellt assumes a special role for programs that aim to improve the training of European teachers, in the fields of culture, heritage, citizenship, intercultural training and improving the quality of education practiced in the European area.

Within the range of available training emphasizes the organization of courses with a strong relational and experiential component with the issues of the scope of intercultural teaching, from direct contact with history, with cultural heritage, art, literature, landscapes Human and Natural, the Environment, etc, in order to promote the professional and personal enrichment of European teachers.
